"MEDILIFECARE MULTISPECIALTY HOSPITAL (MMH), intends to provide high end secondary and tertiary care in focused areas at Patna. This 400 BEDDED hospital will provide comprehensive healthcare services to all sections of society. It will have In patient Department organized into General Wards, Semi Private Rooms, Private Rooms and Single Bed Suites. It will have specialized and multi-purpose and Intensive Care Units for adult patients, pediatrics and neonatal intensive care units for children and neonates. The hospital will be a multi-specialty centre providing high end secondary care for all conditions. In addition the hospital will provide tertiary level care in TEN SUPER-SPECILATIES. The focus areas for super-specialty work would be Cardiology, Neurology, Plastic Surgery, Gastroenterology, Nephrology, Orthopedics, Oncology, Pulmonary Medicine, Endocrinology and Dental & Maxillofacial Surgery. These facilities will be supported through Comprehensive Diagnostic Services with the contemporary modalities in high end imaging including MRI, PET CT, Gamma Camera, mammography in addition to routine modalities. The laboratory medicine would be established as per the scope of services envisaged above. The hospital would also cater for an Invasive Cardiac Laboratory with provision for two Catheterization Labs or Cath Lab to take care of diagnostic and therapeutic needs. A neuro diagnostic lab will serve the needs of the neuro cases. It will have specialized and general hi-tech advanced Operating Rooms, Delivery suites and Labour Room.
Specialized centre for Oncological services including Day Care Chemotherapy, Radiation Oncology with IGRT Linear Accelerators and HDR Brach therapy will be planned with all support services for treatment planning and adjunct therapies. The Hospital Out Patient Department will provide consultations in all major specialties and super-specialties along with well equipped Casualty and Emergency Services. The Emergency services will cater to specialized needs for the concerned specialties of cardiac services by establishing a Heart Command Centre and for orthopedic services by creating a Trauma Unit. There will be an ambulance service network and air lift facilities for emergent situations. The total project cost would be around Rs. 150 crores”
